Page 3. Our story.

Undaunted, our hero waited a respectable amount of time... okay, actually, he wrote her that night. A week later, they met at a coffee shop for their first date: a movie and dinner.

The timing couldn't have been worse; the Prince had been up nearly 48 hours straight when they met, due to an all-night work weekend. The Princess, meanwhile, was horribly sick from the night before. The Prince had had so much coffee that his hands were literally shaking while they talked; and all he could do was down more to keep him awake. Next on the agenda was a two-and-a-half-hour movie - in a dark theatre. The restaurant he had picked for dinner wasn't even open by the time they got out of the movie. The scene was set for disaster.

So naturally, they had a great time. They got along incredibly well. Bob just adored Sonnet's sense of humor and wit. Sonnet appreciated Bob's choice of movie (an indy flick named Monsoon Wedding, and sense of taste (they wound up at a cozy Mediterranean restaurant). Before they knew it, the hours had flown by, and it was time to say goodnight.

As they were about to part, the Prince found that he really wanted to kiss this girl. Instead, he kissed her hand, and told her how much he wanted to see her again! Before long, they had set up two dates for the next weekend. One date was for Friday at a nice Turkish restaurant. The other was for Saturday, at an outing at the Kenyan ambassador's residence.

Both of those dates went well too... so well, in fact, that it isn't stretching the truth to say that their third date simply never ended - they've never been apart since.

And that's the story of how a young Prince named Bob met a wonderful Princess named Sonnet, and began to live happily ever after.
